The Ocean Energy Safety Advisory Committee (OESC) was chartered on February 8, 2011, to advise the Secretary of the Interior, through the Director of the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), on a variety of issues related to offshore energy safety.
Membership: Members are appointed by the Secretary of the Interior to represent the interests of the academic community, non-governmental organizations, offshore energy industry and the Federal Government.
