Eric Modrow has served as BSEE’s Deputy Assistant Director for Budget since 2012. As the Deputy Assistant Director for Budget, Eric is responsible for all aspects of the Bureau’s budget including preparing annual budget submissions, monitoring Congressional appropriations activity, executing funding appropriated to BSEE, and managing BSEE’s Activity-Based Costing program, which tracks direct and indirect costs by activity. Prior to joining BSEE in 2012, Eric was the Budget Chief for the Federal Air Marshal Service from 2007 to 2012 where he managed a $1.1 billion dollar annual budget. Eric also previously held several budget positions within the Department of Navy where he was responsible for managing the funding for multiple amphibious class ships.
Eric earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Maryland College Park in 2002.
