Description

The objective of this project was to develop an engineering screening approach to assist in the development of inspection and repair methodologies for existing steel jacket platforms. Quantified safety assessments of inspections and repairs and the ability to incorporate these findings into decisions regarding future inspections and maintenance sequences was a major focus of this effort.

Latest progress update

Complete. The research resulted in the development of a practicable methodology and guidelines for safety management of fixed offshore platforms.
