Complete. A difficult economic environment and the technical uncertainties associated with Gulf of Mexico deepwater developments requires cost effective design. Texaco is developing a design for a generic system--a system with functional capabilities, production capacity, and economic restraints, that are adaptable to a range of operating conditions.
