Description

This was a Joint Industry Project (JIP). The goal was to develop and provide guidance and information on the determination of reserve and residual strengths, redundancy, and progressive collapse mechanisms of three-dimensional tubular frames. This included the detailed design, fabrication, instrumentation, and ultimate load testing of a 3-D frame representative of offshore jacket structures.
