Description

The objective of this study was to plan, organize, promote, and host a 2-day workshop offering a public venue for consultation between offshore deepwater energy industry experts and regulators to: identify the critical issues and effects of water depth on equipment and operations and
determine the adequacy of current regulations.

Latest progress update

The workshop was held on November 2 & 3, 2011 in Galveston, TX. The proceedings and findings from the workshop have been captured in a final report, one version with the workshop presentations and the other without. Both versions of the report are available for review and downloading in the Reports section below.
