February 28, 2013- On February 20th, personnel with both the Production and Well Operations Sections of the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement's (BSEE) Houma District Office were on hand to answer questions and to discuss with local parish officials BSEE's contributions to Terrebonne Parish, the Gulf Coast, and the nation. The Houma District has been part of the regulatory landscape for decades and there are currently 35 engineers, inspectors, and support personnel working out of the new office. BSEE Director Jim Watson was also on hand for the open house.
While in Louisiana, Director Watson took the opportunity to meet with BSEE's Gulf of Mexico Regional Office. He also addressed the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association in New Orleans, and toured both Cameron and McDermott facilities in St. Mary Parish.
